RSRV Resurgence Hat

Since its inception, the RSRV design philosophy has revolved around references to Alpinestars race heritage, and repurposing the parts, pieces, and previously-raced apparel found in the Alpinestars factory and R&D facilities. This is very much the case with the RESURGENCE HAT. The 6-panel cap featured a leather yoke that extends rearward in reference to the aero spoilers that are integrated into Alpinestars state-of-the-art Supertech R10 motorcycle helmets. The “spoiler” component is constructed from leather that has been repurposed from race-worn, decommissioned race suits that have protected Alpinestars MotoGP athletes. Large Astar logos adorn each side of the cap, mimicking the logo placement on the Supertech R10 helmets, while small RSRV logos have been sublimated onto the rear of the “spoiler.” As this season’s collection explores the challenges and triumphs of injury and recovery, it was inevitable that homage would be paid to arguably the most important piece of equipment to prevent serious injury… the helmet. And the RESURGENCE HAT is that homage.
